The Roland RD-700 is a digital stage piano produced by Roland between 2001 and 2005.
It features 88 weighted keys, 128 voices of polyphony, and was manufactured in Japan.
The keyboard is designed for live performance and studio use, offering robust sound engines that can be expanded with optional SRX sound boards.
Later models in the series, such as the RD-700SX (2004–2008), added USB MIDI connectivity, while the original RD-700 relies on traditional DIN MIDI I/O
